Rocco's Pizza & Cheesesteaks

January 2025 I stopped for lunch to pick up some pizza slices. This was my first time here since the ownership changed. The place still has an interesting atmosphere. The staff was cheerful and friendly. Now on to the pizza. You get 2 slices for about 5 bucks, so it's a good deal. I thought the crust was very good. It struck just the right balance of crispy and chewy. I thought the toppings were average. Nothing jumped out. The cheese didn't offer the coveted stretch, and I thought it was a bit scant. The sauce wasn't especially flavorful. The pepperoni was typical, nothing special. I think the toppings could use an upgrade. Overall, I rate the pizza 6/10. In summary, I'm happy to have another pizza option in Homosassa, and I would go back. Original review ⬇ Easy 5 ⭐s! The cheeseburger was outstanding; dressed with super fresh toppings. The french fries were also excellent. You gotta love fries that come in a brown paper sack. I'm sure they were the best fat fries I've ever had. The place is cute and clean. I enjoyed checking out the fun memorabilia while I waited for my food. The owner is super nice and friendly. I'll definitely go back to try the Cheesesteak. If you're on highway 19 in Homosassa Springs and your crave is for a burger & fries, roll right on by the fast food joints and stop right here! You'll be happy you did.

Been here about 5 times now. The pizza to me is great. Thin & crunchy crust. Cheese steak itself is good but the bread needs to be replaced especially if taking it home. Bread makes it go from an 8 to a 5 on a 1-10 scale. Garlic knots I was charged 9.99 for 6 mini knots. Local competition is 1.99 for 3 & they are 3x the size & better quality. Picture of 6 count attached. Shouldn't be more than $1.00 per knot IMO. I'm giving 4of5 stars due to pizza but the other items need help with right size pricing to the market or portions. I got lasagna. It was the best! Ample portion served with a french loaf of bread. It stayed hot to the end of the meal. My husband got chicken cutlet Calpine. He said it was delicious! We were here last week and both got Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious, too! The service was great!

Rocco’s has the best pizza in this area. It’s consistently delicious. The staff is always friendly. You can stop in for a quick slice or a cheesesteak (also very good), or call in an order. If you like New York style pizza, it’s worth a try.

Food was phenomenal. I got the $12.50 sandwich not the meal!! The one guy with the cool shirt was very nice sweet and helpful. The cook was phenomenal. I did call them to tell them that the food was great to keep up the hard work. I would say this place is better than Philly Richie cheesesteaks. I do recommend this place if you’re hungry for cheesesteaks they also have a lot of good other menus. I will definitely be coming back.

This is our second time here and we tried other items. Better then the first time. There fresh cut fries and burgers are delicious also one of the best Philly cheese steaks. Definitely recommend.

Hidden gem! Absolutely blown away by friendly fun service. The NY pies were perfect and crispy. Best anywhere around here. Really good classic cheesesteak, fries were crispy and seasoned well. Ill be back soon. Big thanks.

We literally traveled 1 hr one way to this place to try their cheesesteak, and it's all worth it. Everything we ordered was so tasty & delicious. The fries & pizza are great, too. The owner/staff are nice and friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant
